Schedule:

  • Monday -Friday
  • 08:30 am 05:30 pm
  • One hour of lunch
Compensation:

$65,000 yearly

Responsibilities:
  • Log and deposit settlement checks into trust accounts.
  • Maintain trust ledgers and reconciliations.
  • Issue trust checks only after documented attorney approval.
  • Hold and release checks per firm policy.
  • Maintain lien reserves until finalized.
  • Upload and document all trust activity in CASEpeer or other practice management systems.
  • Enforce trust rules without exception.
Qualifications:
  • Experience in trust accounting within a legal setting, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain and reconcile trust ledgers with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven track record of managing financial transactions and documentation in CASEpeer or similar systems.
  • Strong understanding of legal trust rules and the ability to enforce them consistently.
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with attorneys and leadership.
  • Proficiency in issuing and managing trust checks, adhering to firm policies, and obtaining attorney approvals.
  • Capability to handle lien reserves, ensuring they are maintained and released appropriately.
