This is a high-impact national sales role focused on delivering integrated commercial technology solutions to enterprise clients across multiple industries. You will act as both strategist and consultant, helping organizations design and implement scalable systems spanning audiovisual, unified communications, security, structured cabling, and smart building technologies. With a consultative, solutions-driven approach, you will build long-term client relationships while driving revenue growth nationwide. The role offers significant autonomy, extensive travel, and collaboration with architects, contractors, and technology partners to deliver seamless, end-to-end solutions. Accountabilities:
  • Develop and expand a nationwide portfolio of commercial clients through proactive prospecting, networking, and strategic relationship building.
  • Design and execute tailored sales strategies aligned with clients multi-location operations and technology needs.
  • Achieve or exceed annual revenue targets by identifying opportunities across audiovisual, unified communications, network infrastructure, security, and related systems.
  • Conduct site surveys, client presentations, and solution demonstrations to assess requirements and propose comprehensive, standards-based solutions.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor, recommending hardware, software, professional services, and managed services that align with client budgets and timelines.
  • Collaborate with architects, designers, general contractors, electricians, manufacturers, and internal technical teams to ensure cohesive project execution.
  • Represent client interests internally, ensuring technology implementations enhance operational efficiency and long-term productivity.
  • Stay informed on emerging industry trends and innovations through trade events and ongoing professional engagement.

Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial technology, AV, unified communications, or workspace technology sales.
  • Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding sales targets in a competitive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated commercial technology systems, including network infrastructure, security, access control, structured cabling, and managed services.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain national client relationships and manage complex sales cycles.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and deliver compelling proposals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using CRM platforms and social networking tools for prospecting.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt in dynamic environments.
  • Willingness and ability to travel nationally (50%+).
