About the Role:

The Education and Training Manager works collaboratively with the Directors and Managers of the Medical Staff Division to plan, coordinate, and execute all physician orientation processes and educational programs (including ACCME and GME-related activities). This role ensures that new practitioners receive a structured, high quality orientation experience and that educational initiatives remain current, effective, and aligned with organizational goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Orientation Management

· Manage and coordinate the full orientation workflow for all new practitioners across all service lives using project management tools to ensure timely start dates.

· Manage creation of orientation and training for new practitioner roles, service lines, or work agreements (e.g., Emergency Neurology, Psychiatry, EEG, etc), including stakeholder meetings, schedule coordination, itinerary creation, and operational alignment.

· Attend and facilitate orientation sessions, providing support throughout orientation.

· Collaborate with key leaders, including Managing Partners and Directors across Medical Staff Division, Clinical Informatics, Implementation, Credentialing and Licensing, and Capacity Planning to monitor practitioner progress.

· Oversee orientation shadowing and mentoring programs for new practitioners and for current physicians seeking professional development.

· Manage and maintain all practitioner training materials.

· Serve as administrator for educational platforms such as MedLink, NetCE, StatPearls, and the TeleSpecialists Learning Center.

· Update and manage dashboards and reports that track physician and advanced practitioner orientation data.

· Provide regular status updates on training and orientation pipelines to leadership across divisions.

· Evaluate orientation processes and implement process improvements.

Education Program Management

· Oversee the education program, including accreditation (ACCME), graduate medical education (GME), internal education and training activities, and partner facility collaborations

· Support ongoing educational activities, including recruiting speakers, presentation material review, course audits, and check-ins with presenters.

· Ensure compliance with accreditation standards and participate in accreditation surveys.

· Create, distribute, and analyze learner surveys to collect feedback and identify areas for improvement.

Administration

· Attend scheduled meetings

· Develop and track relevant KPIs

· Support Medical Staff Division leadership in physician professional development and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field preferred.

· Minimum two years related experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.

· Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

· Strong writing skills, including grammar, clarity, and educational content creation.

· Ability to prioritize tasks and projects effectively and seek help when needed.

· Ability to delegate and support others in completing assigned work.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) for prolonged periods, often up to 75% of the workday.
  • Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or shared workspaces.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and printer.
  • Must be able to exchange accurate information with clients and co-workers in person, over the phone, and via digital platforms.
  • Occasionally moves or transports office supplies, files, or equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Occasionally positions self to maintain files in cabinets or access equipment stored in low or high areas.
  • Requires close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, and viewing a computer monitor for extended periods.
