Certified Lifeguard at NFC Amenity Management – New York, New York

Duties & Responsibilities:

Maintains constant surveillance of individuals in the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of all individuals in the event of an emergency.

Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.

Advise residents and guests of improper activities or hazards and enforces and adheres to facility rules and regulations.

Always present a professional appearance and attitude. Must follow NFC Uniform and Grooming Standards.

Maintain a high standard of customer service.

Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility.

Prepare and maintain appropriate activity reports.

Accurately record time in/out by following the Companys Time and Attendance system.

Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Must beCPR Certified with a valid certification issued by an accredited source of training.

Must beLifeguard Certified with a valid certification issued by an accredited source of training.

Must always renew current Lifeguard and CPR certifications prior to their expiration.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

Knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedures.

Skill in the application of lifeguarding surveillance and rescue techniques.

Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.

Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.

Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.

Effective communication skills and positive engagement with clients.
