Position Summary:
The University of New Mexico's Student Health &Counseling (SHAC) is recruiting for a knowledgeable, detail-oriented HealthEducator.
Position Summary: Under general supervision, plans,implements, and evaluates health education and/or clinical training programs,conferences, and other associated activities for individual, group, and/orcommunity needs. Collaborates with other health specialists to ascertain healthneeds, develop desirable health goals, and determine availability ofprofessional health services. Develops and maintain cooperation between public,civic, professional, and voluntary agencies.
The Student Health & Counseling Center is located at thecenter of campus. The clinic provides comprehensive primary, and mental healthservices and has a laboratory, x-ray, pharmacy, physical therapy, massage,acupuncture, case management, and health promotions on site. Other medicalservices provided are same day appointments, travel medicine, immunizations,and sports medicine.

- Presentation and public speaking experience
- Able to self-manage and work as a team
- Comfortable speaking on physical health, mental health, sexual health, and reproductive health.
