Responsibilities:

• Set up, program, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision-machined parts
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and GD&T specifications
• Develop and edit CNC programs (Mori-Seiki experience a plus)
• Set tool offsets, select tooling, and assist with fixture setup
• Perform first-piece inspections and ensure tolerances of 0.0005 are met
• Measure and verify parts using micrometers and other inspection tools
• Monitor machine performance and tool wear during production
• Input and transfer CNC programs from PC to machine
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment

Required Experience:

• 3+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience
• Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
• Experience with live tooling preferred
• Ability to write and edit CNC programs
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
• Experience working to tight tolerances (0.0005)
• Familiarity with ASTM standards is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Authorized to work in the United States
