- Prepare and review complex tax returns for individuals, corporations, S-corporations, partnerships, trusts, and estates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations.
- Develop and maintain supporting documentation for tax filings, addressing technical issues and ensuring completeness of financial data.
- Provide direct client support, maintaining strong relationships and delivering high-quality service across multiple engagements and tax years.
- Collaborate closely with partners and internal teams to manage workflow, communicate progress, and meet deadlines, particularly during peak tax seasons.
- Mentor and guide junior team members, supporting their technical development and ensuring quality standards across deliverables.
- Interpret and apply federal, state, and local tax regulations, offering insights and solutions tailored to complex client scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance efficiency and client outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation required.
- 5–7+ years of experience in public accounting, with a strong focus on complex tax engagements involving high-net-worth clients and trusts.
- Deep knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines, especially during busy tax seasons.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain client relationships.
- Experience mentoring or supervising team members is highly desirable.
