Industrial Engineering Intern in MEBANE, North Carolina at AKG Thermal Systems Inc

Summary:

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer Intern to work with the team in design, implementation, and optimizing integrated systems for manufacturing cooling system assemblies. This role focuses on streamlining production workflows, integrating SAP-driven planning with physical shop-floor capacity, and leading high-impact continuous improvement projects to reduce waste and enhance product quality. This position reports to the Engineering Manager at AKG Thermal Systems and is part of the Operations team.

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to sit (80%) and stand (20%) of the time May also be required to bend, stoop, pull, push, twist and turn.

· Must use safety equipment such as steel toe shoes and safety glasses when walking in the plant. Safety glasses are provided.
