Responsibilities:

• Strong knowledge of powder metallurgy processes, including compaction, sintering, and Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP).
• Understanding of metallurgical fundamentals such as phase diagrams, grain growth, diffusion, and defect control.
• Experience with process development, scale-up, optimization, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with inspection and analysis techniques (metallography, SEM, EDS, XRD) and non-destructive testing (NDT).
• Ability to analyze process data (pressure, temperature, sensor logs) using statistical tools (e.g., Minitab, Excel).
• Knowledge of quality systems and standards including NADCAP, ISO 9001, and AS9100.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, SPC, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and production scheduling.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot production issues.
• Effective communicator with solid technical documentation skills.
• Ability to lead small teams or production shifts and take ownership of process performance.
• Entrepreneurial, results-driven mindset.

Required Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or related fields

Salary Range:
$96K $112K annually DOE
