Shipping Clerk at Prospira America Corporation – Upper Sandusky, Ohio

PRIMARY FUNCTION:

To plan, prepare, and analyze customer forecast information; receive all inbound shipments to SAP; receive customer service order information and make a plan to complete; scan shipping and receiving documents into Prospira electronic storage folders.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Issue accurate invoices via SAP system.
• Assist with daily inventories and cycle counts when needed.
• Scan shippers and packing lists to company storage drive.
• File shippers, BOL’s, trucking slips, packing lists, load invoices for current day’s shippers, log shipper numbers. Maintain historical files regarding product shipped, product received, billed, and expedite fees.
• Receive all incoming material/components in SAP.
• Enter customer forecasts into SAP.
• Analyze customer forecasts.
• Receive UPS/FedEx shipments daily.
• Work with Production Schedulers on customer orders.
• Perform packing list audits as needed.
• Back-up other shipping department jobs as needed
• Generate and issue ASN’s (Advance Shipping Notice).
• Bag and label service parts.
• Verify loop truck items and paperwork.
• Handle issues arising in shipping or inventory handling.
• Print customer labels and pull orders.
• Prepare daily past due reports.
• Back-up to the Receiving Clerk and other clerks to cover absences
• Troubleshoot shipping issues and customer complaints that arise and work to solve them.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or GED required
• Computer literacy, proficiency and accuracy in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent communication skills
