Automotive Title Clerk at Short Pump Motorcars LLC – Richmond, Virginia

At Great Lakes Honda of Short Pump, we are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Automotive Title Clerk to join our dealership team. The ideal candidate will have experience in processing automotive titles, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process all new and used vehicle titles and registrations in accordance with state regulations.
• Handle all wholesale transactions between Auctions and Sister stores- follow up on payment.
• Stock in all Used vehicle purchases- follow up on receiving titles from seller.
• Verify accuracy of vehicle sales paperwork before submission.
• Maintain title records and filing systems.
• Handle lien releases, payoffs, and title corrections.
• Communicate with customers, banks, and the Bureau of Motor Vehicles regarding title-related matters.
• Assist with other administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous title clerk or dealership administrative experience preferred.
• Knowledge of title regulations and DMV/BMV processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and dealership software (CDK preferred).
