This role is perfect for a technically skilled and strategic thinker who thrives at the forefront of advertising technology and data science. You will design, implement, and scale advanced machine learning models that drive campaign optimization, audience targeting, and attribution across programmatic media and Connected TV (CTV). Working closely with Product and Engineering teams, you will translate complex datasets into actionable insights that directly influence revenue and product performance. The position combines hands-on technical expertise with mentorship responsibilities, shaping both the team and the company’s data-driven strategy. You will tackle multi-objective optimization challenges, develop scalable data pipelines, and ensure model performance aligns with key business metrics. Architect and deploy machine learning models for campaign optimization, including bid strategies, budget allocation, and pacing algorithms in programmatic and CTV environments.
Lead the design and orchestration of models to maximize performance across multiple, often conflicting, business KPIs.
Drive audience segmentation and targeting strategies using first- and third-party data to enhance product performance and advertiser outcomes.
Partner with Product and Engineering teams to integrate models and data pipelines into production systems, ensuring scalability and reliability.
Conduct deep-dive analytics to uncover trends in campaign performance, market behavior, and audience insights, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
Serve as an internal subject matter expert in ad-tech data science, communicating complex methodologies and results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mentor junior data scientists, fostering a culture of rigorous experimentation, statistical excellence, and innovative problem-solving.
Requirements:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related quantitative field preferred.
7+ years of experience in data science, with significant exposure to advertising technology, DSPs, programmatic advertising, and CTV measurement.
Proven track record of designing and deploying models for bidder optimization, attribution, and measurement.
Strong expertise in advanced statistical methods and machine learning, with proficiency in Python and SQL.
Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment, translating data into strategic decisions.
Excellent communication skills to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred: Experience with GCP/Vertex AI, feature stores, experiment tracking, or LLMs and agentic AI frameworks.
