What you’ll do

As our Construction Recruiter, you’ll be the heartbeat of our hiring efforts — identifying and engaging the talent that brings our job sites and projects to life.

This is more than just a hiring role. You’ll be a brand ambassador, culture carrier, and people connector. You’ll work side-by-side with project managers, foremen, and leadership to bring on skilled professionals who share our values and passion for building better.

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Craft and post job listings that pop
2. Source and screen top-tier candidates for skilled labor and exempt positions
3. Build authentic relationships with applicants from all backgrounds
4. Collaborate with hiring managers to understand project staffing needs
5. Attend job fairs, trade school events, and community hiring initiatives
6. Support onboarding and help new hires feel welcomed and empowered
7. Represent Sterling’s culture, values, and mission in every interaction

What You Bring:

1. 4+ years of recruiting experience — construction/trades experience a major plus
2. Bilingual in Spanish & English? You’ll be our hero.
3. You're tech-savvy, organized, and comfortable juggling priorities
4. A natural communicator who knows how to connect with everyone from laborers to leadership
5. Passion for people, purpose, and building something that matters
