About This Position
Position Summary
Responsible for the management of all aspects of all material entering and leaving the facilities.
Essential Functions
Manage, coordinate, and participate in all Chinook Winds Casino material control operations.
Shipping and Receiving Functions:
- Manage and direct the inspection of shipments of materials, equipment, and supplies received to assure compliance with purchase order specifications.
- Identify and report shortages, damaged goods, or other discrepancies.
- Schedule and assign routine and special deliveries to various departments and warehouse locations.
- Oversee pick-up and delivery to designated locations (either on or off-site).
- Monitor activities on and around the receiving dock.
- Maintain order on the dock and notify Security if or when necessary.
- Oversee, receive, and sign for merchandise, and keep records of items received and delivered, in compliance with Chinook Winds policies and procedures.
Storage and Inventory Functions:
- Coordinate the movement of all furniture/equipment transfers and disposals.
- Coordinate and participate in all inventory and material storage functions; requisition supplies as necessary and determine proper location of materials to allow maximum space utilization.
- Oversee the maintenance of the warehouse to ensure clean, orderly, safe, and secure operations are followed.
- Monitor and analyze warehouse inventory levels and controls and make recommendations.
- Plan, organize, and conduct the distribution of donated materials.
- Responsible for ensuring the receiving and stocking of all food orders within one working day of delivery.
- Responsible for ensuring stocking and rotating kitchen products.
- Responsible for sanitation of storage areas.
- Maintain a perpetual inventory in the Receiving area according to business levels for all food and liquor.
- Oversee daily cycle count of storeroom products to ensure proper billing to the different outlet centers.
Administrative Functions:
- Maintain records and reports pertaining to warehouse operations, personnel, mail deliveries, and the budget.
- Maintain a neat and orderly office area.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Accounts Payable to ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Participate in the development, implementation, and maintenance of Receiving procedures and policies.
- Ensure that Shipping and Receiving operations follow Chinook Winds Policies, NIGC (National Indian Gaming Commission) minimum internal controls (MICS), Tribal policies, State compact, and Tribal gaming regulations.
Management Functions:
- Train, supervise, and evaluate the performance of assigned personnel; select new team members; generate promotion and disciplinary action documents as required.
- Develop and maintain a teamwork environment.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with all departments.
- Maintain working knowledge of Chinook Winds events, promotions, & services
- Other duties as assigned.

Ability to operate an electric pallet jack or show proficiency within 30 days.
Education
High School diploma or (GED).
Experience
5 years of previous receiving experience in the Gaming industry.
5 years of experience in receiving/materials operations.
5 years of experience in all phases of supervision, including employee training, safety training, employee performance and evaluation, and scheduling, hiring and disciplinary processes.
Computer Skills
3 years of basic experience with Microsoft Office.
3 years of experience working with a computerized distribution program (preferred).
Certificates & Licenses
Must have and maintain a valid Oregon Driver’s License or the ability to acquire one within 30 days.
Must have an Oregon Food Handler’s Card or be able to acquire one within 30 days.
Must have a Forklift Certification or be able to attain one within 90 days.
Must be able to acquire and maintain a Siletz Tribal Gaming License (High Security).
