Position Overview / This role is responsible for one of the most critical functions supporting our company’s growth: talent acquisition.
Working closely with mid- to long-term business, organizational, and corporate strategies, you will drive end-to-end talent acquisition initiatives—from designing hiring strategies and securing critical talent to enhancing and internalizing recruitment
processes.

TA Partner
This is not a purely operational recruiting role. We are looking for a TA Partner who can define what talent the business truly needs, attract that talent from a global market, and help shape the future of the company through hiring.
The initial title and scope will be determined based on experience and capabilities, with flexibility in defining your role within the TA team.
Key Responsibilities / 1. / Talent Acquisition Strategy & PlanningThe initial title and scope will be determined based on experience and capabilities, with flexibility in defining your role within the TA team.
Develop mid- to long-term hiring strategies aligned with business and organizational plans
Identify critical roles, define hiring requirements, and proactively source talent, including long term pipeline generation
Create annual and quarterly hiring plans by role, location, and seniority
KPITime to HireQuality of Hire
Design and monitor recruitment KPIs (e.g., headcount, Time to Hire, Quality of Hire)
Analyse and map the Japan space industry, to provide a tailored approach to sourcing
2. / Collaboration with Leadership & HRReport hiring progress and challenges to executive leadership
Proactively propose key roles and talent profiles needed to accelerate business growth
Align hiring requirements with job grades, compensation, and performance frameworks
Collaborate with global offices and support international hiring initiatives
3. / Hands-on Recruiting & Process DesignLead recruiting activities across business, corporate, and engineering roles
Design and continuously improve hiring processes, interview flows, and evaluation criteria
Hiring Manager
Strengthen collaboration with Hiring Managers and support interviewer capability building, working collaboratively with the Learning Function
4. / Recruiting Channels & Employer BrandingManage recruitment agencies, including selection, negotiation, and performance management
Strengthen direct sourcing through job platforms, social media, and referrals
Plan and execute employer branding initiatives, including recruitment storytelling and messaging
Required Qualifications (Must) / 5
5+ years of experience in talent acquisition in an in-house or recruiting firm environment
Experience managing multiple roles across different functions and seniority levels
Experience in global hiring and conducting recruitment activities in Japanese and English
Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle, from role definition to closing
Hiring Manager
Ability to work closely with Hiring Managers and senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have) / Experience in a TA lead or equivalent role
Experience hiring engineers or highly specialized professionals or industries
Experience in startups or high-growth environments
KPI
Experience designing recruitment KPIs and driving data-informed improvements
Ideal Candidate Profile / Views hiring as a strategic business challenge, not just an operational task
Able to bridge the gap between leadership and on-the-ground teams
Comfortable operating in environments with high uncertainty and limited precedents
Willing to work hands-on while also building scalable recruitment frameworks
