About the Role:

As a Plumbing Technician within the wholesale trade industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the proper installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures for a diverse range of clients. Your expertise will directly impact the functionality and safety of water supply and drainage systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. You will be responsible for diagnosing plumbing issues, executing repairs efficiently, and installing new plumbing fixtures according to industry standards and client specifications. This role requires a strong commitment to quality workmanship, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills to maintain client satisfaction. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid plumbing license or certification as required by the state of employment.
  • Proven experience in plumbing fixture installation and repair.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and plumbing codes.
  • Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity to perform plumbing tasks safely and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited apprenticeship program in plumbing.
  • Experience working within the wholesale trade industry or with commercial plumbing systems.
  • Familiarity with advanced plumbing technologies such as water-saving devices and smart plumbing systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, repair, and maintain plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, and water heaters in accordance with manufacturer guidelines and local codes.
  • Diagnose plumbing problems using appropriate tools and techniques, and provide effective solutions to restore system functionality.
  • Collaborate with clients and team members to assess plumbing needs and recommend suitable products or services.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all phases of work to prevent accidents and damage.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job to support inventory management and billing processes.
