Position Summary:
The Growth Account Executive (GAE) is responsible for generating new business opportunities and expanding Ergotron’s sales pipeline within non- acute healthcare environments.
Position Responsibilities:
- Successfully executes a sales strategy for new business into non-acute healthcare.
- Manage account sales planning, forecast, pipeline, and opportunities.
- Research and build expertise within each account to determine decision makers and purchasing behaviors.
- Build expertise in Ergotron value proposition and products to implement a seamless purchasing experience.
- Coordinate with leadership and marketing to create relevant marketing materials/content for effective sales facilitation.
- Drive senior level conversations that align solutions with customer workflow and operational outcomes.
- Responsible for Salesforce.com opportunity management, aligned with Company process and policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for assigned strategic accounts.
- Travel to customers, participate in healthcare events, presenting and demonstrating Ergotron value to customers
- Complete expenses, training and documentation aligned with Company policy.
- Responsible for timely and accurate updating of all required systems and programs necessary for sales operations including Salesforce and others as appropriate to ensure customer data is well maintained and documented.
- Additional duties as requested.
- Supports site specific QMS initiatives for continuous process improvement.
Position Requirements (Knowledge and Experience):
- BS/BA degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years of general Healthcare market selling or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years selling into non-acute healthcare accounts preferred, with a proven track record of developing account penetration strategies that lead to capturing new business and exceeding targets.
- Strong business acumen relative to healthcare business operations in addition to channel/distribution operations.
- Strong ability to develop deep customer relationships with stakeholders across the customer organization
- Excellent team player who can effectively collaborate with other sellers on achieving new business objectives.
- Strong foundational knowledge of IT equipment and utilization in healthcare Proficient in Microsoft Office (including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), Oracle and Salesforce.
- Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the job as described to you for the position.
