Support Engineer

As a Support Engineer, you will be a key part of the technical success organization, ensuring customers have a seamless and productive experience with complex software solutions. You will work directly with developers, troubleshooting issues, guiding configurations, and providing actionable insights to improve the product and overall customer experience. This role offers the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge technologies, including containerized environments, code hosts, databases, and AI tools, while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your work will directly impact the satisfaction, retention, and success of customers using sophisticated software platforms. Accountabilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for customers, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Educate customers on product usage, best practices, and integrations to maximize value.
  • Contribute to product improvement by identifying recurring issues and suggesting enhancements.
  • Maintain and improve documentation, knowledge base articles, and team onboarding materials.
  • Observe trends in customer issues and recommend automation, tooling, or process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment, configuration, and adoption of software.
  • Support customers across the full journey, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a technical support or similar customer-facing engineering role.
  • Proficiency with Unix/Linux, Bash, and containerized environments such as Kubernetes.
  • Experience with code hosts such as GitHub, GitLab, or BitBucket.
  • Strong understanding of databases, especially SQL, and ability to troubleshoot database-related issues.
  • Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and programming languages (Go or other languages preferred).
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical problems.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Curiosity and problem-solving mindset, with compassion for customer needs and a desire to improve product and processes.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and Large Language Models (LLMs) is a plus.
