About The Job:
Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Accountant to join our team at CustomerHD. Accounting experience should include all facets of accounting including AP, AR, prepaids, fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries and month-end close. Knowledge of BPO accounting and US GAAP preferred. You will be working with a multi-location team including in Belize and the US.
Key Responsibilities:
● Perform daily data entry and maintain accurate general ledger records
● Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy
● Reconcile bank statements, petty cash, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
● Assist with client billing and collections
● Assist with accounts payable entry and vendor payments
● Record and reconcile credit card transactions
● Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including financial reporting
● Maintain organized and accessible financial records
Qualifications:
● Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred, but experience is more important
● At least 2 years of experience working in a BPO
● Knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance in accordance with US GAAP
● Proficiency in accounting software, Xero preferred, and relevant tools like Excel and Google Sheets
● Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
