Compensation:

$25 - $30 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
  • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
  • Check the building for any damage to doors, windows, walls, and make any repairs as needed
  • Establish and implement preventative maintenance protocols to keep equipment operations smooth and eliminate safety risks
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
  • Performs a wide variety of general and semi-skilled tasks such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical
  • Ensures all repairs and services are completed correctly and on schedule
  • Demonstrates superior customer service
  • Ability to identify, diagnose, and fix a variety of maintenance issues and notify management when a licensed professional is needed
  • Loading and unloading building materials and tools
  • Being compliant with all health and safety regulations
  • Following instructions and completing work orders online
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of maintenance experience
  • Has high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
  • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, procedures, and techniques
  • 2 years of experience in repairs and maintenance preferred
  • Skilled in maintenance activities such as carpentry, flooring, gutters, painting, drywall, light plumbing, and light electrical
  • Ability to work independently and with other team members
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues
  • Desire to provide excellent customer service
  • A sense of pride in your work
  • Ability to communicate well with people
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Physical requirements include a frequent need to lift and carry heavy objects
  • Part of the on-call rotation
  • Must have own tools
