Job Summary
The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for guests and plays a key role in creating a welcoming and positive hotel experience. This position is responsible for providing outstanding customer service, managing guest check-in and check-out processes, and assisting with guest requests to ensure a comfortable and memorable stay. The Front Desk Associate represents the hotel’s commitment to hospitality, professionalism, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
• Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming first impression upon arrival.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently.
• Answer phones, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information about hotel services, amenities, and the local area.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, or service issues promptly and professionally, escalating when appropriate.
• Process reservations, room assignments, and payment transactions according to hotel procedures.
• Maintain accurate records within the hotel’s property management system.
• Communicate effectively with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Support the overall cleanliness and organization of the front desk and lobby areas.
• Follow brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures at all times.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support coworkers in delivering exceptional service.
Qualifications & Preferences
Previous customer service or hospitality experience preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills required.
Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable using computers and hotel systems (experience with hotel property management systems is a plus).
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
