Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?
The Solutions Consulting team at IX operates at the intersection of Sales, Account Management, Software Development, and Marketing. As a Senior Solutions Consultant, you will leverage your deep technical expertise and leadership skills to support large-scale publisher’s integrations, resolve complex challenges, and mentor junior team members. Your role will involve providing strategic technical guidance to clients while optimizing their experience with IX’s digital media and AdTech solutions.

  • Understanding the Ad Tech industry: You have a deep understanding of Adtech and Martech technology, including SSPs, DSPs, DMPs, CDPs, and Data Activation Platforms. You understand the life of an ad call.
  • Technical Leader: With a deep understanding of AdTech and digital media, you are confident in leading technical discussions, making strategic decisions, and providing guidance on complex integrations.
  • Customer-Focused Problem Solver: You thrive on solving challenging client issues, and you can think strategically to provide long-term solutions that align with business goals.
  • Strong Communicator & Collaborative Partner: You are a strong communicator, able to work cross-functionally to ensure client needs are met and that internal teams are aligned.

Here’s what you’ll be doing:
  • Lead Strategic Client Engagements: Take ownership of the technical relationship with key publisher, managing complex integrations, optimizations, and resolving escalated technical issues. Act as a trusted technical advisor and strategic partner.
  • Advanced Troubleshooting & Issue Resolution: Serve as an escalation point for complex technical issues, working directly with Product and Engineering teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely resolutions.
  • Advanced Solution Design & Consulting: Work with publishers and internal teams (PDs, Sales, Product, etc.) to design and implement advanced, tailored solutions that drive performance and meet business objectives.
  • Projects and Internal Initiatives: Work with internal teams on strategic initiatives that shape the vision of the company, using your technical and analytical skills to overcome roadblocks and provide insights that help to accomplish the project goals.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to advocate for clients’ technical needs and ensure seamless communication between teams.
  • Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior Solutions Consultants and other team members, helping them build technical expertise and professional skills.
  • Process Optimization & Improvement: Identify areas of improvement within internal processes and suggest actionable solutions to enhance team efficiency and service delivery.
  • Tool Mastery: Become a subject matter expert on internal tools such as the Index UI, Looker, and Salesforce, using these tools to drive insights and client success.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Develop internal and external documentation to streamline troubleshooting, integrations, and solution design processes. Provide at least one training a quarter about a relevant topic that helps elevate the technical level of the team.

Here's what you need:
  • Education: College degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience:
    • 4-6 years of experience in Ad Operations, Solutions Consulting, or a related technical role.
    • Demonstrated experience working with large publishers or advertisers within the digital advertising ecosystem.
    • In-depth understanding of ad technology and operations, including ad tags, pixels, cookies, and HTTP protocols.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Expertise in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
    • Proficiency in using and writing Kafka queries.
    • Proficiency in JavaScript for creating custom solutions and debugging.
    • Experience with Salesforce (SFDC) and other CRM/ticketing systems.
    • Experience working with large-scale integrations and advanced technical configurations.
