Summary:
We are seeking a Regional Director of Operations to lead and support multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) across our growing organization. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving operational excellence, strong survey outcomes, financial performance, and leadership development across multiple facilities.
This role reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and works closely with Facility Administrators and clinical leaders to ensure each facility delivers high-quality resident care while achieving strong operational and financial performance requiring regular travel across assigned facilities to provide on-site operational leadership and support.

Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Multi-Site Operations -
- Provide operational leadership and strategic direction for multiple Skilled Nursing Facilities
- Coach and mentor Facility Administrators to achieve strong operational and clinical outcomes
- Drive performance in census growth, staffing stability, financial performance, and regulatory compliance
- Ensure consistent implementation of company systems, policies, and operational standards
- Travel within the region (and occasionally outside the region) to conduct frequent on-site visits, monitor operations, support leadership teams, and ensure regulatory compliance
- Drive Survey Success & Regulatory Compliance -
- Lead facilities in maintaining strong compliance with federal and state regulation
- Prepare teams for annual and complaint surveys
- Guide corrective action plans and ensure timely resolution of deficiencies
- Identify trends and implement system-wide improvements
- Improve Quality & Resident Outcomes -
- Partner with clinical leadership to support QAPI initiatives and quality improvement
- Monitor key quality indicators
- Foster a culture of accountability and resident-centered care
- Strengthen Financial Performance -
- Review budgets, labor management, and facility financial performance
- Monitor census, payer mix, and accounts receivable
- Identify operational efficiencies that improve financial outcomes while maintaining quality care
- Develop Strong Leaders -
- Hire, mentor, and support Facility Administrators
- Conduct site visits, performance reviews, and leadership coaching
- Promote leadership development and succession planning
- Support staff engagement and retention initiatives
- Support Strategic Growth -
- Assist with census development and community outreach strategies
- Maintain relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners
- Support acquisitions, expansions, and service line growth initiatives
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Active Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5 PLUS years of progressive leadership experience in Skilled Nursing Facility operations
- Experience managing multiple facilities or regional operations strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations and survey readiness
- Proven ability to lead teams, improve operations and drive results
- Frequent travel to support multiple SNF locations
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
