Position Summary:

The Sr. Demand Planning Specialist plays a key role in extracting data and providing PSI (Production, Sales, and Inventory) to leadership. Key deliverables include oversight of the forecasting process for production, importing, supplying, out of stock and overstock. This role is accountable for integrating data from Sales, Production, Logistics, and Finance, which are used to develop accurate and timely supply to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously provide PSI simulations based on adjustments in the sales plan, production plan and inventory level

  • Communicate with the Sales team for variances between existing forecasts, plans, and actuals, and new items through weekly PSI meeting

  • Foresee inventory issues and report to higher management and communicate with relevant teams to resolve the issue by management direction

  • Maintain regular communication with the sales team regarding new store openings, new products, and events, and collaborate with production to ensure supply availability

  • Extract and analyze SIOP data and Consensus demand review

  • Advise/communicate with the sales team and production for variances between existing plans and actuals weekly

  • Check sales plan system’s data and on-hand inventory, incoming inventory, and P/O to handle regional on-time supply and ready to report present status

  • Generate STO & Monthly closing on 3PL W/H

  • Analyze and report inventory turnover, sales plan vs actuals, and PSI forecast on weekly and monthly to supervisor

  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (SCM, Business, Economics, Data Science or related) required

  • English/Korean bilingual speaking and writing preferred

  • 5-8 years of Supply Planning, Purchasing, Importing, Operation and Logistics experience preferred

  • Demonstrates Python, Microsoft Office (Excel) proficiency

  • Knowledge of ERP systems, especially SAP preferred

  • Strong follow-up, organizational and analytical skills

  • Proactive work attendance and communication

  • Have a sense of urgency and be able to work under fast-paced, metrics-driven environment

The base salary for this position is between $80,000.00 and $95,000.00 per year. Actual compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, and location. This position may also be eligible for additional compensation and benefits, including an annual incentive bonus, medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, PTO/FTO, and a 401(k) plan with company match.
