Independent testing has confirmed the superior performance of our products, contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.Core ResponsibilitiesThe Furnacing Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, and monitoring of high-temperature vacuum furnaces used in the manufacturing process. This role includes loading and unloading furnaces, adjusting run parameters through digital controllers, and assisting with the setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various manufacturing process equipment.Additional responsibilities include:Operating and maintaining high-temperature vacuum furnacesLoading and unloading furnace materials safely and efficientlyAdjusting furnace run parameters using digital control systemsSupporting the setup, maintenance, and repair of manufacturing process equipmentRecording experimental results and process observations in detailWorking within both research and development environments and structured manufacturing operationsFollowing all standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety guidelinesEducation and ExperienceThis position requires a minimum of an Associate’s Degree (2-year) in a technical field or equivalent related experience.Qualified candidates should also have:Experience using mechanical tools and machinery for equipment assembly and maintenanceAbility to operate test equipment and basic computer program setups according to SOPsExperience using PC-based applications such as Microsoft Excel and WordFamiliarity with small business systems and shipping platforms such as UPS and FedExAbility to perform light to medium lifting (up to 50 pounds)Preferred QualificationsThe following experience is preferred but not required:CAD 2D or 3D drafting experienceHands-on experience with electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or plumbing systemsExperience with powder processing or high-temperature vacuum furnacingKnowledge of soldering and brazing processesAbility to maintain research notebooks and technical documentationAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematic drawings
