Position Summary

The Information Processing Assistant supports the accurate collection, processing, and management of organizational data and documentation. This role is responsible for reviewing, scanning, and uploading documents, assisting with contract and client file processing, and ensuring information is properly recorded within internal systems. The position works closely with multiple departments to monitor data quality, identify discrepancies, and support data integrity initiatives. The Information Processing Assistant plays a key role in maintaining organized records, supporting AI-driven document processing, and ensuring sensitive information is handled securely while contributing to efficient and accurate data management across the organization.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with regular monitoring of data to ensure accuracy
  • Follow implemented procedures and standards for data management to ensure compliance with organizational goals
  • Identify inconsistencies
  • Help to troubleshoot issues to ensure that data is accurately recorded and maintained
  • Process/scan/review documents so AI can capture necessary information
  • Assist with reviewing contracts and completing data entry
  • Assist with client file processing activities
  • Assist with uploading electronic documents into the document management system
  • Monitor and report on data quality metrics
  • Provide technical support to team members facing data related issues
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Ability to collect, organize and analyze data with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Capability to identify and rectify data discrepancies and inconsistencies, ensuring accuracy and consistency throughout databases
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and present findings
  • Ensure the secure handling of sensitive information
  • Work closely with other departments to determine and resolve data quality issues
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and frequent interruptions while also performing effectively in a team-oriented, open-concept environment
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks based on importance and urgency
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, basic computer skills and comfort in learning new applications
  • This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational skills
