MAINTENANCE MECHANIC II at Shannon Health – San Angelo, Texas

Job Summary

Under minimal supervision, performs as well as maintains moderately complex preventative and corrective building systems. This includes but is not limited to mechanical equipment repair and maintenance, refrigeration equipment maintenance, industrial equipment maintenance & operation, general knowledge of electrical and mechanical system operation. Understands general building construction.

Qualifications

Education

• Preferred
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Vocational School Certification in a related field

Experience:

• Required
  • Five years of experience in building maintenance, plant operation, construction, or related experience
  • Five years of technical education related to maintenance
    • May be required for some positions

Certification/Licensure:

• Required
  • Valid State Issued Driver's License
• Preferred
  • Electrical, Plumbing, Air Conditioning License
