Helpdesk Technician at Strategic Business Systems – Wiesbaden

Strategic Business Systems (SBS) is expanding our team in Wiesbaden, Germany supporting a federal government contract. In this role the candidate will play part in supporting the storage and backup environment for the customer by providing additional Desktop/Helpdesk support. This is a full-time opportunity with SBS. ***Current active DoD Secret clearance required***

The candidate will be providing technical assistance and support related to computer systems, hardware, and software. They are responsible for answering queries and addressing system and user issues in a timely and professional manner.

REQUIREMENTS

Specialized Experience: The following experience may be concurrent: Four (4) years experience using and maintaining Microsoft server or PC based applications. Four years experience with IT Customer Service organization; two (2) years direct experience with U.S. military command and control or commercial LAN/WAN communication systems.

Specialized Certification: Microsoft Enterprise Desktop Support Technician, Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator , or Microsoft Certified Solutions Administrator

Security Clearance: Current U.S.SECRET clearance required (IT-1).

Special Requirements: DoD 8570.01-M, IA workforce certification: IAT-II (Security+).

Education: Bachelor of Science/Arts Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or Science or Business Administration or Mathematics. Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of specialized experience, or an associate's degree plus 7 years of specialized experience, or a major certification plus 7 years of specialized experience, or 11 years of specialized experience.
