Responsibilities
We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Systems Manager to oversee the day-to-day management, resilience, and continuous improvement of the organization’s hybrid cloud and onpremises infrastructure platforms. This includes data center systems, cloud infrastructure, server and storage platforms, operating systems, and enterprise email services.
In this role, you will lead a team of infrastructure engineers, administrators, and managed service providers, with accountability for the reliable operation, lifecycle management, and modernization of infrastructure and platform services. Network services are owned by a separate team.
The primary objective of this role is to ensure a secure, scalable, observable, and resilient infrastructure environment that supports business operations while enabling modernization and operational efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:
Including but not limited to:
- Lead and manage a team of infrastructure engineers and administrators
- Oversee hybrid cloud operations across on-premises and cloud platforms
- Manage enterprise infrastructure platforms including servers, virtualization, storage, operating systems, and email services
- Ensure infrastructure resilience, availability, performance, and recoverability
- Maintain and regularly test disaster recovery and backup processes
- Oversee infrastructure monitoring, observability, and alerting capabilities
- Drive automation, standardization, and repeatable deployment practices
- Coordinate patching and vulnerability remediation activities
- Execute infrastructure projects and modernization initiatives
- Manage managed service providers supporting infrastructure operations
- Partner with Security, Governance, and Risk teams to support compliance and risk management
- Perform capacity planning and provide operational KPI reporting
- Manage infrastructure budgets within assigned scope
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
- Five or more years of enterprise infrastructure experience, including people leadership
- Strong knowledge of hybrid cloud infrastructure environments
- Hands-on experience with servers, virtualization, storage, operating systems, and messaging platforms
- Experience with IT service management disciplines
- Vendor and managed service provider management experience
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and collaboration skills
Preferred Experience:
- Experience supporting distributed enterprise environments
- Experience with cloud services including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools
- Experience with automation or configuration management solutions
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments
- ITIL, PMP, or other relevant certifications
