About Baseball Lifestyle 101

BL101 began as an Instagram account started by a baseball obsessed teenager on his couch that started a community and has grown into something bigger than he ever could’ve imagined.

Today, Baseball Lifestyle has over 200 employees, retail locations in malls and tournament complexes, and can be found in various sporting goods stores around the country, like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Scheels, and Academy. The community built at BL101 has grown with the company’s success and the mission to grow the love of baseball stands true every day.

As a part-time sales associate, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with finding products, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a tidy sales floor. You'll utilize your product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience, promote sales, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

The Sales Associate is responsible for the following:

• Greet customers and provide friendly, knowledgeable service to meet their shopping needs.
• Assist customers with product selection, sizing, styling, and fit recommendations.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the store’s product assortment, including new arrivals, promotions, and sales events.
• Operate the Point of Sale System and handle customer transactions accurately.
• Achieve or exceed individual and store sales goals through effective selling techniques.
• Keep the sales floor stocked, organized, and visually appealing in alignment with brand standards.
• Assist in receiving, unpacking, and organizing new merchandise.
• Address customer questions, concerns, or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including loss prevention and safety standards.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented store culture.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
• Basic math and cash-handling skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Interest in men’s and boys’ fashion and trends is a plus.
• Standing or sitting for extended periods.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
• Repetitive wrist motion.
• Audible recognition of alarms.
