This role plays a critical part in strengthening and protecting enterprise information systems, services, and networks within a global cybersecurity-focused organization. You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating security risks across cloud and on-premise environments while continuously improving security posture through modern tools and automation. The position combines hands-on technical security engineering with strategic risk analysis, incident response, and security tooling optimization. You will work across Endpoint Detection and Response, threat and vulnerability management, and enterprise security platforms to ensure resilient defenses against evolving cyber threats. A strong focus is placed on leveraging automation and emerging technologies, including generative AI, to enhance security operations. This is a highly impactful role in a fast-evolving threat landscape where technical depth and proactive thinking are essential.
- Lead security assessments across systems, applications, cloud services, and infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and reduce organizational risk.
- Implement, configure, manage, and optimize security tools including EDR, TVM, email security, and identity/security monitoring solutions.
- Conduct vulnerability scanning, risk analysis, and security testing using both automated tools and manual methodologies.
- Support and actively participate in all phases of incident response, including detection, investigation, containment, and remediation.
- Improve security processes and workflows by leveraging automation and generative AI to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor security systems and logs to detect anomalies, threats, and potential breaches in real time.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deploy new security solutions and enhance existing security architecture.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of security standards, policies, and operational best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Security, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or related technical roles.
- Hands-on experience with security tools such as EDR, MDM, IdP, email security, and cloud platforms (AWS or Azure).
- Strong understanding of security frameworks such as OWASP Top 10 and MITRE ATT&CK.
- Experience applying generative AI or automation in security workflows is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of operating systems including Linux, Windows, and MacOS.
- Ability to use Linux command line and write basic scripts for automation and analysis.
- Familiarity with secure SaaS implementations and enterprise security best practices.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
- Security-related certifications are a plus.
