This is a highly technical and customer-facing role focused on designing, demonstrating, and supporting advanced secure networking and cloud security solutions for enterprise and service provider environments. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to senior stakeholders, including CIOs and CISOs, helping organizations evaluate and adopt next-generation network security architectures. The role combines deep hands-on engineering expertise with pre-sales engagement, including workshops, proofs of concept, and solution validation. You will contribute directly to complex enterprise transformations in areas such as SASE, SD-WAN, and secure cloud connectivity. Operating in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment, you will also collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to shape future offerings. - Provide advanced pre-sales technical expertise and consultative support to enterprise customers and partners to drive solution adoption and revenue growth.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior customer stakeholders (including CIOs and CISOs), supporting strategic network and security transformation initiatives.
- Lead technical workshops, product demonstrations, and proof-of-concept engagements to validate solution fit and performance.
- Design, test, and validate complex network architectures, including secure SD-WAN, SASE, and cloud security deployments.
- Respond to RFIs and RFPs with accurate, compelling, and technically robust solutions.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering teams to provide market feedback and influence product evolution.
- Develop technical documentation, whitepapers, and customer-facing content to support adoption and enablement.
- Maintain deep awareness of competitive technologies, market trends, and emerging security threats.
- Extensive experience in designing, operating, or supporting large-scale enterprise or service provider WAN/LAN environments.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies including MPLS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, QoS, NAT, and multicast.
- Solid understanding of security architectures including SASE, FWaaS, DLP, CASB, VPNs, proxies, and threat prevention technologies.
- Deep expertise in TCP/IP fundamentals and modern enterprise network architectures.
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, VMware, or OpenStack.
- Strong Linux administration skills, with additional scripting knowledge (Python or Shell) considered a plus.
- Ability to engage confidently with technical and executive-level stakeholders in a pre-sales or consulting capacity.
- Strong problem-solving mindset, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Based in the United Kingdom and authorized to work in the UK.
