Job Overview
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Chief Product Officer (CPO) is responsible for building and scaling the operational and product infrastructure that powers LunaJoy’s clinical care delivery across the U.S. This role ensures that systems, workflows, and technology are optimized for efficiency, growth, and high-quality patient outcomes.
This is a hands-on executive leadership role for someone who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments and can operate at both a strategic and execution level. You will work cross-functionally with clinical, operations, product, and leadership teams to design scalable systems, improve performance, and drive sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and optimize end-to-end operational workflows:
- Intake → Scheduling → Care Delivery → Billing → Follow-up
- Build scalable systems to support multi-state growth and increasing patient volume
- Drive operational efficiency, margin improvement, and cost optimization
- Establish and track key performance metrics:
- Provider utilization
- Patient conversion (referral → booked → seen)
- Revenue per provider and per patient
- Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions quickly and effectively
Product Strategy & Development
- Translate operational challenges into scalable product and system solutions
- Partner with engineering and technical teams to build and enhance:
- EHR workflows and integrations
- CRM and referral management systems
- Scheduling and capacity optimization tools
- Patient onboarding and engagement experiences
- Own and execute the product roadmap aligned with company growth goals
- Drive automation and AI adoption to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
Data, Analytics & Performance
- Build and operationalize dashboards to monitor:
- Capacity and availability across states and payers
- Booking speed and access to care
- Utilization, fill rates, and cancellations
- Revenue and margin performance
- Use data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Partner with leadership to drive data-informed decision-making
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Clinical, Care Coordination, Sales, Finance, and Compliance teams
- Ensure operational readiness for new programs, partnerships, and market expansion
- Align product, operations, and clinical teams to function as a cohesive system
Leadership & Team Development
- Hire, lead, and develop high-performing teams across operations and product functions
- Foster a culture of accountability, speed, and continuous improvement
- Provide structure, clarity, and direction in a fast-growing, evolving environment
Qualifications
- 8–15+ years of experience in operations, product, or general management roles
- Prior experience as a COO, Head of Operations, VP Operations, and/or Head of Product
- Proven success scaling operations in high-growth environments
- Strong understanding of U.S. healthcare operations, including multi-state models and payer dynamics
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable systems and processes from the ground up
- Strong analytical skills with experience using data and performance metrics to drive decisions
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and execute with speed
Nice to Haves
- Experience in healthtech, telehealth, behavioral health, or integrated care models
- Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., AdvancedMD, Athena) and CRM/automation platforms
- Experience implementing AI or automation tools within operations or product workflows
- Background in scaling operations across multiple markets or service lines

Compensation & Benefits
Compensation Range: $3,500 - $4,000/ month based on the individual's location, experience, qualifications, and applicable requirements. Equity and performance-based incentives may be included. Access to educational resources and a supportive community of like-minded professionals.
Interview Process
HR Screen:
Initial screening to review experience, alignment, and cultural fit.
Second Phase with Hiring Manager:
Deep dive into operational and product experience, problem-solving approach, and leadership style.
Final Interviews:
Meet with executive leadership to assess strategic alignment and long-term fit.
