Warehouse Crew at FOLKLORE EVENT RENTALS INC – Oceanside, California

The Warehouse Crew is responsible for supporting our warehouse operations in terms of equipment & furniture loading and unloading of delivery vehicles. This position has in depth knowledge of our inventory and our team vision and supports the Warehouse and Inventory teams with quality control and proper documentation of inventory for events.

Employment Type: Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week
Schedule: Monday - Sunday, Hours/Days will vary (weekends work will be required); schedule sent out weekly
Time: 7:00AM -3:30PM - *Subject to change and require overtime, particularly on weekends during peak season.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Assist in the day-to-day warehouse operations
• Pull, Prep and Stage inventory using the pull tickets
• Make accurate marks on pull tickets as items are pulled identifying discrepancies in counts and/or quality
• Load, secure and protect inventory in box trucks as assigned by warehouse manager
• Unload inventory, identify if items need to be rental ready or require additional inventory care.
• Follow rental ready procedures prior to loading trucks or returning inventory back to stock.
• Receive new inventory, unbox, assemble and identify if inventory arrived in good condition and report to manager immediately if item arrived broken or damaged
• Organize and return inventory daily for will-calls, showrooms, and returned orders.
• Report quality control issues such as stained or damaged items that do not meet quality standards and red tag the item to prevent it from going on a job in poor conditions.
• Full working knowledge of all Folklore inventory
• Maintain positive employee relations, open communication and problem solving
• Maintain positive professional relationships with administrative staff and ownership
• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized and secure per standards and systems

Requirements

• Experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with operating forklifts and cherry pickers is a plus.
• Ability to drive and maneuver box trucks.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) regularly throughout the shift.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for effective inventory control.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks as needed.
