Animal Nutrition Formulation Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Animal Nutrition Formulation Specialist to join our team. In this vital role, you will leverage your expertise in animal nutrition and data analysis to develop optimized, tailored diets that enhance livestock health, productivity, and overall performance. Key Responsibilities

- Conduct daily livestock diet formulation using advanced nutrition software such as Pennent Mill Manager and Brill Formulation (training provided as needed).

- Collaborate closely with sales and nutrition teams to balance diets and develop customized nutritional plans that meet client needs.

- Analyze nutritional data and adjust formulations to optimize animal health, growth, and productivity.

- Stay current with industry trends, research, and best practices in animal nutrition and feed formulation.

- Support the development of new products and formulations based on scientific data and customer feedback.

- Maintain accurate records of formulation activities and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

- Provide technical support and guidance to internal teams and clients regarding diet formulation and nutritional strategies.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science, Animal Nutrition, or a related field.

- Proven experience in livestock diet formulation or animal nutrition (preferred).

- Proficiency with nutrition software such as Pennent Mill Manager and Brill Formulation (training available).

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

- Ability to interpret scientific data and translate it into practical nutritional solutions.

- Customer-focused mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
