About This Position
We're currently looking for an experienced and senior Senior People Business Partner to support one of Brevo's Business Units and play a key role in our People strategy as the company enters a new phase of transformation and growth.
As Senior People Business Partner, you will be the trusted HR advisor embedded within your Business Unit, working closely with senior leaders and managers to drive organisational effectiveness, talent development, and a high-performance culture. You will report to the BU Director, et en dotted line to the HR leadership and be based in our Paris office.
Your scope will require a deep understanding of Sales and Revenue organisations — this is a non-negotiable for this role. At this level of seniority, you'll be expected not only to support, but to challenge, advise, and lead with confidence and autonomy.
- Act as a strategic Senior People Business Partner for your Business Unit, building trusted relationships with senior leadership and managers to shape and deliver their people agenda
- Provide expert guidance on talent management, workforce planning, compensation, organisational design, and change management in the context of Brevo's ongoing transformation
- Support and coach managers — including senior ones — in handling performance, engagement, and development conversations with confidence and consistency
- Partner with leaders to identify and address capability gaps, ensuring the team is set up for success at every stage of growth
- Drive and own people processes (performance reviews, compensation cycles, talent reviews) within your BU, ensuring they are implemented with care and rigor
- Contribute to building a high-performance and inclusive culture, balancing ambition with psychological safety
- Work closely with the Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, and Compensation & Benefits teams to deliver an integrated People experience
- Act as a change agent and thought partner during Brevo's Business Unit transformation, helping leaders navigate uncertainty and land decisions effectively
- Use data and people analytics to identify trends, anticipate risks, and recommend proactive, evidence-based solutions
- Contribute to and sometimes lead cross-functional People projects beyond your BU, bringing senior expertise and perspective to the broader People team
- At least 5 years of experience as an HR Business Partner or People Partner, ideally in a fast-paced, international tech or SaaS environment
- Mandatory: proven experience partnering with Sales or Revenue teams — you understand the pace, culture, and specific people challenges of commercial organisations
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); French is a plus but not required
- A curious, proactive mindset — you ask the right questions, challenge the status quo, and don't wait to be told what to do
- Strong coaching and advisory skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly with C-level and senior stakeholders
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and change — you thrive in transformation contexts and bring clarity where others see complexity
- Solid understanding of French labour law and HR practices; international exposure is a strong plus
- Data-literate: you use metrics and people data to inform decisions and tell compelling stories
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — you know how to adapt your style depending on the audience, and you're not afraid to push back constructively
- Collaborative team player who is equally comfortable working with full autonomy and contributing to collective projects
