About This Position

As a valued Operations team member, the job of Biffs Service Supervisor is to manage our team, implement, and support efficient service activities. This position also is to ensure Biffs stays in good standing according to the established standards of service while uniting friendly and professional internal and external customer service.

Service Supervisor Duties and Responsibilities

· Adhere to the highest level of confidentiality and responsible for following strict protocols

· Adopt, contribute to, and lead by following the Biffs RoadMap vision and strategic anchors

· Manage service technicians, addressing questions and concerns

· Adjust daily work plans based on staffing changes or operational needs

· Ensure team members are prepared and deployed effectively each morning

· Assist with scheduling, hours tracking, conditions monitoring, and general workforce coordination

· Participate in job shadowing to understand work processes and identify training opportunities

· Review performance data and identify performance issues, implement development or improvement plans

· Conduct follow-up meetings, coaching sessions, or in-field evaluations when needed

· Support safety initiatives, review incidents, maintain documentation, and ensure corrective actions are taken

· Conduct recognition programs, incentives, and team-building activities

· Support planning for special events or larger operational initiatives

· Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including driver hours and operational reporting

· Coordinate equipment and vehicle assignments in collaboration with internal stakeholders

· On Call Dispatch Team Member

· Provide backup coverage for dispatch operations during peak periods

· Oversee timekeeping, reporting, and workforce system administration

· Identify areas for process improvement and implement efficiency-enhancing initiatives

· Utilize Biffs data management systems to ensure all required data is accurately captured real-time

· Cross train in additional areas to serve as a back-up team member when needed

· Provide Internal Customer Service and External Customer Service

· Attend meetings as requested in addition to scheduling meetings when required

· Workload varies due to season and demand

· Balance Efficiency and Quality of Workmanship

· Positive Attitude

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with a wide range of people

• 3-5 years in management, logistics, or field operations (preferred)

• Strong collaborative leadership and motivational abilities

• Excellent time management and prioritization abilities

• Early morning presence required

• Dependability

• Technically savvy, very comfortable with MS Office software

• Professional demeanor

• Must be able to work independently

• Ability to think and communicate timely, logically, and analytically for excellent coordination

• Strong creativity and problem solving skills

• Organized

• Flexibility
