About This Position
KeenLogic is seeking a Data Architect to support one of our government programs. This role provides technical leadership in designing, developing, and managing large-scale enterprise applications, ensuring robust, scalable, and secure data architecture solutions that support mission-critical operations.
This role supports the Ektropy platform, a centralized system used by the Defense Health Agency (DHA) to manage budgeting, staffing, contracts, and program performance across the organization. You’ll be working on a mission-critical application that helps leadership track resources, improve decision-making, and streamline operations across the Military Health System. The work includes enhancing system functionality, supporting data integration, and contributing to modernization efforts, including emerging technologies like AI.
This is a full-time position with a primarily remote work schedule, with core hours from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday. Candidates must be able to support in-person meetings at DHA Headquarters in Falls Church, VA, as needed.
This position supports a long-term federal contract with a base year and four option years, offering up to five years of continued work. Required Qualifications
- Active Secret or Top Secret clearance
- Master’s degree in a related field with at least 10 years of combined commercial and Federal experience in designing, developing, and managing large enterprise applications of similar scale and complexity
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field with at least 15 years of combined commercial and Federal experience in designing, developing, and managing large enterprise applications of similar scale and complexity
- Architecting solutions for large-scale enterprise systems
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining technical architecture
- Developing solutions using .NET Framework, Telerik/Kendo, and SQL
- Designing and developing AI-based solutions
- Creating technical solutions to address complex business requirements
- Leading and mentoring junior team members and performing code review and QA
- Supporting modernization and migration of applications and data across systems
- Data Scientist Certification
- .NET Developer Certification
- Design and architect enterprise-level data and application solutions to support mission requirements.
- Lead the development and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performing system architectures.
- Oversee and ensure quality of development efforts, including conducting code reviews and enforcing best practices.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, supporting knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Support system modernization initiatives, including migration of legacy systems and data into updated platforms.
- Develop and integrate AI-driven capabilities to enhance system functionality and decision-making.
- Ensure all solutions align with government standards, security requirements, and performance expectations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues impacting system performance and reliability.
- Maintain responsibility for the overall integrity and success of technical solutions delivered under the contract.
