Position Overview
Are You the Kind of Accountant Who Turns Raw Data Into Financial Truth?

If you instinctively question numbers until they reconcile, obsess over workpaper integrity, believe the chart of accounts should tell a clear story, and know how to transform raw transaction data into trusted financial truth, this role is for you.

At Organics Ocean, we’re looking for a Staff Accountant who will help strengthen and scale the accounting foundation inside a fast-growing DTC supplement business.

This role sits at the intersection of:

  • close-cycle discipline
  • balance sheet integrity
  • workpaper rigor
  • general ledger precision
  • reconciliation accuracy
  • trend validation
  • fast, reliable financial visibility

You will play a critical role in helping the business move from raw data dependency to trusted information truth, ensuring that leadership can make fast decisions backed by highly accurate financial reporting.

This is a high-ownership execution role, responsible for creating confidence in the numbers through disciplined reconciliations, strong chart of accounts governance, trend analysis, and highly accurate monthly close support.

You will partner closely with accounting leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure every transaction, accrual, prepaid, and settlement flow is properly reflected in the financial story of the business.

This is a hands-on, outcomes-driven accounting role.

If you are looking for:

  • a highly siloed AP/AR role
  • repetitive data entry without analysis
  • a narrow public accounting tax lane
  • a slow-moving corporate finance environment
This will not be the right fit.

This is a rare opportunity to help build the accounting rigor, close-cycle discipline, and financial systems foundation inside a company that is doubling year over year.

We are specifically looking for a proven accounting professional with experience in close-cycle, reconciliation, and general ledger discipline experience, ideally someone who thrives in dynamic, fast-growth environments where precision and speed both matter.

Roles and expectations are clear, feedback is direct, and strong ideas are encouraged regardless of title. The environment is collaborative and low ego, but the standards are high.

We move fast, hold a high bar, and believe this next stage of growth will only be achieved by A-players who are energized by building in ambiguity and raising the standard every day.

Why join our team?

High-growth eCommerce brand: Driven by innovation and fast execution, Organics Ocean has seen 350% year over year growth.

A team of high performers: We push boundaries, move fast, and get things done. The company is in a hockey stick growth phase. This is not a good fit for those who don’t want to grow.
