RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinates and supervises all construction activities.
• Conduct periodic coordination/scheduling meetings with project team members. Supervise work on or ahead of schedule, and, on or under budget.
• Knowledge in reading and understanding blueprints, specifications, and contract requirements.
• Implement, supervise and maintain Safety Plan and safety compliance with all personnel,
• Direct and supervise all field personnel to achieve completion of the project on schedule, within budget, with quality workmanship that conforms to original plans and specifications.
• Maintains construction schedule, identifies and solves problems.
• Orders materials and schedules inspections as necessary throughout the process.
• Maintains positive relationships with customers, contractors, suppliers and other employees.
• Prepares schedules and supervises the completion of a final punch list.
• Ensure all company employees and contractors are adhering to the company safety policy. Rectifies job site hazards immediately.
• Coordinate periodic safety inspections with corporate safety office. Assist in Quality Control Management Plan
• Maintains an organized job site.
• Utilizes strong organizational skills.
• Displays strong written and oral communication skills and effective listening skills.
• Possesses well developed interpersonal skills including the ability to work well with diverse personalities.
• Coordinate and conduct final inspections with government contracting and civil engineer personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum 10 years of experience supervising commercial and federal government contracts.
• OSHA 30, CPR/First Aid Certifications required.
• CQC certification preferred.
• BS Degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
• Army Corps Safety Manual EM 385 1.1.
• Valid Drivers License.
• Related Field Experience.
