Location: Shanghai, China

As the Compliance Specialist II for the APAC region, you will be the Bluetooth SIG representative for members in the APAC region. With over 50% of members located in Greater China, you will have a focus on Greater China in addition to the other APAC countries
The Bluetooth Compliance program protects all Bluetooth SIG members by ensuring the qualification policies are followed by all Bluetooth products. The compliance program ensures members are using the trademarks in accordance with the Bluetooth brand guide and are selling goods and services that have successfully completed the Bluetooth qualification processes. ​
The Compliance Specialist II works to ensure all Bluetooth products are compliant to the Bluetooth requirements and performs audits of existing qualification data to ensure accuracy.
For the team, you will represent our APAC members, providing regional-specific insights and feedback to the team to continuously improve on how we can support our members. Together with the other individuals in the global Qualification and Compliance team, you will work on global projects, cross-team initiatives and regional activities to help reach the goals of the SIG as a whole.
In time, with growing knowledge on Bluetooth SIG and member companies, you will establish yourself as the knowledge-base and valued resource to APAC members and the SIG alike.
This role is located in Shanghai, and reports directly to the Senior Director, APAC and China.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide first-tier support for questions and issues related to Compliance Program process
  • Work with Americas based enforcement team to define average metrics for resolution and pattern analysis to establish baseline for measured improvements to the program and processes
  • Manage the tracking of enforcement data for the APAC region including generating weekly and ad-hoc reporting
  • Identify and remove products in violation from online retailers
  • Support regional coordination with Greater China–based online marketplaces to address compliance violations and recurring enforcement issues
  • Execute auditing, corrective action, auditing parameters and procedures to verify product compliance to Bluetooth specification
  • Support regional enforcement education initiatives in Greater China, including localized compliance guidance and member communications in Mandarin
  • Partner with Member Success and Qualification teams to manage issue tracking system and establish standard communication escalation process to drive issues to resolution
  • Own the feedback loop between members in China and Americas based Enforcement team
  • Provide regional market insights by identifying recurring compliance issues, emerging trends, and risk patterns specific to the Greater China market
  • Act as a regional liaison between local members and Americas based enforcement team to ensure global compliance policies are clearly understood and effectively implemented by members in the region
  • Identify opportunity for process improvement
  • Coordinate closely with Americas based enforcement team on enforcement efforts and initiatives
  • Take on unique one-off projects and support the gathering of information or execution
  • Travel to US (1-2 times per year) and across APAC region when required

Additional Skills
  • Online retailer brand compliance experience
  • Experience supporting compliance education or enforcement initiatives in the Greater China market

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field.
Language: Fluency in Mandarin and English is required (spoken and written).
