We are seeking a Talent Specialist based in our Burnsville, MN office to help design, deliver, and scale talent and development solutions that strengthen our workforce and support business growth. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Learning and Performance Management, this role will partner closely with HR, leaders, and functional teams to build engaging, consistent, and effective talent processes across onboarding, engagement, development, and talent management.

The Talent Specialist will play a meaningful role in shaping how employees grow at Trystar—helping translate talent strategies into practical, scalable programs while ensuring strong execution, adoption, and employee experience.

In this role you will get to:

Build and Enable Talent & Development Programs

  • Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise talent and development solutions that strengthen onboarding, employee engagement, mentoring, career development, and capability building.
  • Lead the deployment and scale of a formal, enterprise-wide mentorship program.
  • Partner with leaders and HR colleagues to enable development planning, capability building, and growth conversations across functions.
  • Support the launch and coordination of experiential and rotational development programs.
  • Advance career pathing by shaping frameworks, documentation, and communications that clarify growth opportunities across roles and functions

Support Learning, Onboarding, and Capability Development

  • Shape and enhance onboarding and learning experiences by aligning learning pathways, resources, and experiences in partnership with the business.
  • Partner with subject matter experts and functional leaders to enable effective product, technical, and functional learning, ensuring strong learning design practices, scalable delivery models, and appropriate use of learning platforms.
  • Help identify, track, and support skill and capability development across the organization.
  • Leverage digital learning tools and platforms to support targeted development and continuous learning.

Enable Talent Processes, Platforms, and Adoption

  • Support the execution and ongoing management of talent-related processes and platforms, including performance management, talent management, and learning systems.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees to ensure strong adoption and consistent use of talent processes.
  • Maintain accurate training, compliance, and development records to support reporting, audits, and workforce insights.
  • Partner on change management and communications efforts to support new or evolving talent initiatives.

Program Coordination, Insights, and Continuous Improvement

  • Coordinate program timelines, logistics, and stakeholder communication across multiple talent initiatives.
  • Translate learning, engagement, and development data into insights that inform decision-making and program refinement.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline, digitize, and improve talent processes to enhance employee and manager experience.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business, Education, or a related field required.
  • Experience supporting, building, or administering learning processes and programs.
  • Experience working with HR or talent technology platforms, including user support, reporting, and data integrity.
  • Experience supporting onboarding, learning, or employee development initiatives, including coordination of learning content or programs.
  • Ability to support change management efforts through clear communication, guidance, and stakeholder partnership.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with leaders, managers, and employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting talent reviews, succession planning, or leadership development programs.
  • Familiarity with HR analytics, dashboards, or talent reporting.
  • Experience in a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.
  • Exposure to career pathing, rotational programs, or skills-based workforce development initiatives.

  • Position may require up to 10% travel
