About This Position
POSITION SUMMARY:
The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining our company’s technical infrastructure, security posture, and day-to-day IT operations. This role is critical to ensuring our team has seamless, secure access to the tools they need while maintaining strict adherence to industry compliance standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical leader who excels in both strategic infrastructure management and responsive help desk support.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Asset Management: Manage the complete lifecycle of company hardware, including the efficient provisioning of laptops for new hires and secure decommissioning/wiping of devices for offboarding employees.
- Identity & Access Management: Administer and optimize IAM, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations to guarantee secure and streamlined access across all business applications.
- Security Support: Act as the primary technical partner to the CISO, supporting the implementation and monitoring of security protocols, policies, and continuous compliance automation (utilizing tools like Vanta).
- Compliance Operations: Drive IT adherence to critical healthcare and data security frameworks, specifically maintaining HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance across all systems.
- Help Desk Management: Oversee and execute internal IT support, ensuring timely, professional resolution of hardware, software, and network issues for all staff members.
- Website Management: Maintain the technical health, security, and uptime of the company’s website and associated domains.
- Office IT Management: Support physical office infrastructure, including the administration of facility access control systems and the maintenance of secure, high-performance office Wi-Fi networks.

Requirements:- Required education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Preferred education and experience: Experience driving or maintaining HIPAA and SOC 2 compliance initiatives within a healthcare or technology environment.
- Required industry experience or certification: 5+ years of proven, progressive experience in IT administration, system management, or a similar role.
- Other specific requirements for the position:
- Working knowledge of automated security and compliance platforms (Vanta preferred).
- Deep understanding of IAM, RBAC, and SSO integration best practices.
