About This Position

Account Director / Producer (Experiential Marketing)

Our client is an independently owned Experiential Marketing Agency based in Toronto. Best known for their work with global entertainment company, they collaborate with a very diverse set of brand partners touching on pretty much every category you can think of.
We are currently looking for someone to lead all XM projects, as an Account Director, on their signature client.
You move seamlessly between details and big picture. Managing budgets with precision, building and maintaining tight work backs, and ensuring every moving piece is accounted for.
Nothing slips. You're constantly aligning internal teams, flagging risks early, and keeping the entire program on track.
Client service is at the core of everything you do. You’re in ongoing conversations with multiple clients, you’re proactive, and clear. You don’t just provide updates, you lead the conversation. You anticipate needs, solve problems before they surface, and build trust through consistency and control.
You’re deep in production. Collaborating with creative, fabrication, and logistics teams, translating ideas into real-world builds. You understand what it takes to bring something to life and thrive in the complexity that comes with it.
You are on-site. When an experience is launching, you're there ensuring what was delivered in a render has come alive in the real world. You are walking the space as it’s being constructed, managing moving parts in real time, and making decisions on the fly. Adjusting, refining, problem-solving, whatever it takes to get it right.
Calm and always focused on delivering against the vision. You love high-level execution, are obsessed with the details, and are driven by delivering world-class experiences!
You will
  • Be very hands on and actively working as part of the team you will oversee
  • Be the first point of contact with the client
  • Manage projects and relationships with key suppliers
  • Participate in idea generation
  • Build pitch/concept decks
  • Be responsible for the management of each program from initiation to post report
  • Lead the internal team and supplier partners through the project phases on time and on budget
  • Source partners/suppliers to provide quotes and estimates
  • Draft program budgets, managing scope of work to budget
  • Provide oversight and approval for contractor expenses and payroll, ensuring payments are made on time
You must be
  • Highly proficient in connecting with client partners on both a business and personal level
  • Able to think critically, ensuring contingencies are in place to mitigate potential challenges
  • Able to work "lightning fast" with accuracy
  • Able use creativity to problem solve
  • Able to anticipate client needs (be one step ahead)
  • Flexible, poised and possess a grace under pressure
  • Focused on client service
  • Extremely organized
  • Able to juggle multiple tasks at once
  • Proficient in prioritizing tasks for themselves and others
  • Willing to lead, but also to execute
