Position Summary

The General Assembler is responsible for the precision assembly of temperature sensors and related components. This role utilizes specialized equipment and techniques—including resistance welding, hydraulic press operation, and potting compound processes—to produce high-quality sensors that meet production quality standards and schedule requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

· Read and interpret blueprints and follow instruction paperwork to ensure accurate assembly of temperature sensor components

· Use dimensional measuring equipment to verify part specifications; communicate with other departments to coordinate assembly schedules and meet production timelines

· Perform resistance welding under a microscope, hydraulic press operation, and potting compound assembly to build finished temperature sensors

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Prior manufacturing or assembly experience preferred. Demonstrated fine motor skills and manual dexterity required for working with small components and precision equipment. Ability to use a microscope for close detail work. Ability to read and interpret work prints and blueprints. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
