This is a remote role based in the Bay Area, CA, offering exposure to cutting-edge AI security technologies and Fortune 1000 clients.
- Deliver pre-sales technical expertise and guide the sales engineering process to ensure customer and prospect needs are accurately assessed.
- Lead the Sales Engineering team in implementing best practices, CRM usage, and consistent pre-sales methodology.
- Partner with sales leadership and product teams to drive operational excellence, support sales targets, and optimize internal processes.
- Provide technical guidance and enablement to the sales team to ensure readiness and technical accuracy in customer engagements.
- Present compelling technical demonstrations and solution presentations to both technical and executive audiences.
- Represent solutions at industry conferences, forums, and events as a thought leader, and provide feedback to product management on enhancements or feature requests.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure deployed solutions meet client expectations and deliver measurable value.
- 5+ years of experience in pre-sales or solutions engineering for SaaS cloud security products.
- Deep understanding of pre-sales engineering processes, sales cycles, and technical evaluation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with scripting or programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) and API integrations.
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with technical and executive stakeholders, including strong presentation skills.
- Demonstrated success managing multiple projects and responsibilities in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
- Experience selling cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, cloud security, or email security, preferably with Fortune 1000 clients.
- Strong customer relationship management skills and the ability to influence technical decision makers.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently for client engagements and industry events.
