DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Are you entrepreneurial, driven, and ready to supercharge your sales career? Join Kelly Generator & Equipment, Inc. (KGE)—the exclusive industrial solutions provider for Generac Power Systems in the Mid-Atlantic. For over 30 years, we’ve powered mission-critical infrastructure, and now we’re seeking a Business Development Representative (BDR) to expand our reach.

This is a high-impact sales role with full training, strong team support, and six-figure potential in your first year.

What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and develop new customer relationships in your territory
  • Foster ongoing partnerships with current customers
  • Deliver tailored power generation solutions with a consultative sales approach
  • Represent Generac’s full portfolio: Industrial Generators, Transfer Switches, and more
  • Collaborate with Kelly engineers, project managers, and service teams to ensure client success
  • Attend trade shows, site visits, and industry events to grow brand visibility
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales activity records

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Background in generators, engines, or electrical systems a plus
  • Strong communicator and relationship builder
  • CRM proficiency and goal-oriented mindset
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and driven to succeed

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • 3+ years of outside sales experience (B2B preferred)
  • High school diploma or equivalent

PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS:

  • Frequent travel within your assigned territory
  • Ability to lift up to 15 lbs and work in office, field, and site environments
