We have a great opportunity for a Calibration Coordinator to join our team in Kent, WA!

In this role you will perform tasks in both Logistics and Customer Service:

Shipping/Receiving/Driving

  • Appropriately package and ship equipment to our customers and vendors. You will verify that accessories and options are documented according to shipping policies.
  • Receive, unpack, and account for the contents of all inbound orders.
  • Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments against documentation, and identify discrepancies and damage with incoming shipments.
  • Research and implement shipping options for unusual packaging situations or customer requirements.
  • Receive and handle vendor deliveries, completing paperwork as needed.
  • Initiate and manage shipping claims through to resolution, including maintaining contact with delivery service and the affected customer as required.
  • Use UPS (Worldship) and Fed-Ex to generate shipping labels.
  • Maintain relationships with UPS, FedEx, and any other relevant parcel sales contacts.
  • Assist with purchasing commonly used materials such as parts, supplies, tools or services.
  • Drives the company vehicle to various locations to transport materials and/or equipment to/from/between customer facilities, as well as load/unload vehicle with or without assistance
  • Performs other related duties as required

Customer Service

  • Assist in the administrative functions of contract review and recall equipment and vendor outsource equipment status.
  • Relay information to customers (internal and external).
  • Build & maintain strong customer/vendor relationships.
  • Work with customers to determine service needs.
  • Occasionally assist with preparing customer invoicing when needed.
  • Use internal software to retrieve customer information, equipment status information, and advise customers on status of purchase orders (internal and external).
  • Track and manage customer equipment being outsourced for servicing at both internal and external vendors.
  • Perform additional administrative or business functions as required.
  • Respond to customer inquiries, investigate and resolve issues, provide status to customers.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, customer quotations and estimates, and other related letters or memos.
Requirements:

In this role you must possess:

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Will need to drive the pickup and delivery route as needed.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Proficient computer skills including strong data entry skills, internet research, Microsoft Office Suite, and database management
  • Ability to learn new software systems
  • Must demonstrate good attention to detail
  • Valid State driver's license and a good driving record
  • Experience using an inventory management system

And we would prefer:

  • Previous work experience in customer service.
  • Previous work experience in shipping and receiving.
  • Previous work experience in a technical service industry
  • Experience using shipping software such as: UPS WorldShip or Fed-Ex
