JOB TITLE: Executive Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY: Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast‑paced, values‑driven environment providing administrative and organizational support to the Chief Nurse Executive and Chief Strategic Operating Officer of Snoqualmie Valley Health, a public hospital serving the community with excellence and integrity. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong judgement, and the ability to manage confidential and sensitive information. The Executive Assistant proactively takes charge of complex schedules, prepares reports, works across organizational boundaries with awareness of external dynamics, and supports strategic initiatives to ensure the success of the Executive Team and SVH as a whole. In this role you will do the following:

  • Manage complex calendars for the CNE and CSO, including scheduling meetings and travel. Anticipate needs and keep the executives one step ahead.
  • Prepare agendas, coordinate materials and keep minutes/action items during meetings where the executive is in attendance.
  • Draft correspondence, reports, and presentations with a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
  • Serve as a liaison between the CNE/CSO and internal departments, external partners, and community stakeholders by building trusted relationships.
  • Monthly credit card reconciliation and expenditure reimbursements.
  • Support executive projects, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain organized and professional systems for files, contracts, and documentation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public / Health Administration, or related field preferred.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an Executive Assistant or Administrative Professional supporting senior leadership, in a healthcare environment.

Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); Experience using AI tools for drafting, summarization, or workflow efficiency preferred.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize multiple assignments, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism under pressure. Self-motivated to provide excellence and ask questions promptly.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Ability to interact effectively with executives, clinicians, board members, and community leaders. Managing up, down, and across with grace and clarity.
  • High degree of discretion, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Snoqualmie Valley Health District and the communities it serves.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Lively and dynamic office environment within a hospital administrative setting.

  • May require occasional early morning, evening, or weekend work to support scheduled board meetings and hospital events.
