About This Position
We’re looking for a warm, energetic, and organized Dental Scheduling Coordinator to be the welcoming voice of our practice. The Scheduling Coordinator provides a well-run scheduled flow of the dental office. One will oversee that patients are scheduled appropriately, keep the schedule productive, fill any openings in the schedule and confirm patients are aware of their next visit. Responsibilities
-Schedule and confirm appointments while keeping the office calendar organized and up to date.
-Ensuring all forms and records are completed accurately.
-Set and follow Key Performance Scheduling Indicators
- Handle incoming and outgoing calls, mail, emails, and other correspondence promptly.
- Help with other administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice.
- Explaining Treatment
- Verifying Insurance Eligibility
Skills & Qualifications
-Strong communication and customer service skills, especially over the phone.
-Prior experience as a dental office receptionist preferred.
- Proficient with VOIP phone systems.
-Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
-High attention to detail for accurate scheduling and record-keeping.
-Ability to work independently while being a supportive team player.
- 2 years previous experience in the dental field
- Knowledge of dental codes and procedures
